A LITTLE ABOUT US

Cory and Christina met as 18-year-old kids in college and were married in 2001. In 2003, they welcomed their first biological child, followed by another in 2006, and then again in 2008. They began fostering in 2011 and have adopted 5 children from foster care. Today, they are no longer open for fostering, but have turned their focus toward helping parents in the trenches.

Christina is an Occupational Therapist and prior to COVID-19 worked as a pediatric OT for 13 years and, most recently, helped provide home health for elderly folks throughout the greater Little Rock area. Since the pandemic, she has become a stay-at-home mom in order to homeschool all 8 of our children.

Cory spent 15 years in full-time church ministry and is now the executive director of the nonprofit, Compassion Works for All, where he helps teach mindfulness and meditation practices to people who are incarcerated in Arkansas’s jails and prisons.

THE JONES FAMILY

Today we are a family of ten, made up of two parents, 7 sons, and 1 daughter. We talk openly with all of our children about everything from the color of their skin to the unique texture of their hair to the story of how they came to be in our family. We have open adoptions and stay in regular contact with each of our adopted kids’ birth parents and families. We are not perfect, but our goal is to raise children who grow into adults who are fully confident in who they are, where they come from, and, especially, where they belong.
